- Superintendent is responsible for the field work on a project, ensuring that company policies and procedures are met in regards to safety, environmental compliance, quality, scheduling, budget and customer satisfaction.
- Job responsibilities include all types of marine construction including pile driving, deep foundations, wharfs, piers, bulkheads, bridges, dredging, concrete, heavy lifts, and cable laying.
- B.S. in a technical area of study, typically Civil Engineering or Construction Management and/or 5-10 years of heavy civil field construction supervision work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Field experience should include a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Foreman or Superintendent role as Carpenter, Pile Driver, Operator or Laborer.
- Must have hands on field experience as well as supervisory experience in a specific construction discipline (Marine construction, structures, heavy lifts or concrete experience preferred).
