- As a security systems technician, you will directly support physical access controls, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems and video management systems.
- You will have journey level experience working on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of physical access systems and components, intrusion systems such as Bosch, video surveillance systems.
- Performs advanced level electrical work, such as: installation of new data runs, cable terminations, fiber optic cable installations and terminations, intrusion system panel installations and set up and works from blueprints, schematic drawings or sketches, installs new conduit and wiring from power source to panel box, install, repair or replace electrical switches, outlets, and interior or exterior wiring.
- Facilities Management staff provides attractive, well-maintained, secure, clean, accessible, safe, well-planned and managed environments for Pierce County government, through its Construction, Maintenance, Real Property, Security and Resource Conservation divisions.
- Three or more years of journey-level work experience in performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of building physical access control systems, Intrusion systems and video surveillance systems.
