- Review and comment on platting cases and respond to public inquiries and complaints regarding Right of Way activities.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following fields: drafting, surveying, inspection, materials testing, plan review, permitting, computerized mapping, computer assisted design (CAD), traffic signal control, and/or code enforcement and at least one (1) year of which must have been at the Engineering Technician II level with Municipality or equivalent elsewhere.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geomatics, Construction Management, or a discipline specific to the department and one (1) year of experience at the Engineering Technician II level with the Municipality or the equivalent elsewhere.
- International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) or American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Work Zone Traffic Control
- IMSA and ATSSA are required to implement and inspect traffic control and road closures.
