- This position will support research for a high-profile housing policy project to understand the impact of landlord characteristics on tenant affordability and habitability outcomes in California, under the guidance of Professor Seva Rodnyansky.
- Professor Marlon Boarnet and Research Associate Andre Comandon, collaborators at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, will also be part of the team and will also supervise portions of the research.
- Job Duties Conduct housing policy research in line with project goals to better understand the role of multifamily housing ownership type and scale on habitability and affordability outcomes for tenants in California cities and counties.
- Write reports, policy briefs, journal articles, conference papers, and media pieces highlighting research results.
- Minimum Qualifications Experience and excellent ability in constructing, processing, cleaning, managing, and analyzing extremely large datasets, using data management software (R, Python, SQL, etc
