- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Public Relations Specialist will manage medical beats; pitch stories & research studies to lay & healthcare trade media, local and national outlets.
- Crisis communications also a shared duty and experience a plus.
- Writing experience – great pitches, press releases, blogs, articles, holding statements, op-eds required.
- Pitching and placing healthcare patient stories, research studies and thought leadership content with top tier news outlets, ie national, regional and L.A. local and healthcare trades preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Excel), as well familiarity with project management platforms (such as Adobe Workfront) and digital asset management platforms (WebDAM)
