- This work requires the ability to deploy for up to one year to disaster locations within Regions I and II as determined by FEMA. Reimbursable per diem (meals and lodging) at GSA rates, airfare, and rental car costs apply to all staff living greater than 50 miles from duty station.
- Develop or evaluate hazard mitigation proposals and benefit-cost analyses.
- The Structural Engineers will use FEMA’s Grants Manager system.
- FEMA’s Grants Manager system is used to assign and track actions throughout PA project development, and to collect all PA project-related information and documents, including correspondence.
- Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust clearance.
