- Job Description Police Officer, First Shift, Public Safety & Security UC Health is hiring a full-time Police Officer for the Public Safety & Security department for the first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
- West Chester Hospital provides a Level III Trauma Center that delivers superior emergency and critical care, and a certified Primary Stroke Center that provides access to the subspecialty care at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute.
- We work towards a culture of preparedness, providing in-house training to include a Private Security Academy commissioned by OPOTA. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Conduct patrol of property and/or facilities by foot, bike or patrol vehicle to prevent, discover, and deter the commission of crime, to enforce criminal law, to direct traffic on UC Health property, and to enforce parking regulations in an effort to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Responds to calls and complaints involving alarm activation's, automobile accidents, domestic and/or other disturbances, and other misdemeanors and felonies.
- Keeps informed and aware of persons and places suspected of illegal activity and/or potential for problems within an assigned area; Enters or retrieves data from a computer terminal, PC or other keyboard device; Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide PRIDE core values.
