- The Plan Checker II will perform plans examination to ensure compliance with the California Building Standards Codes, Referenced Standards, and city ordinances.
- High school diploma/GED and four years of experience in building plan review or design, or A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Architecture and two years of experience in building plan review or design.
- Licenses and Certifications: A valid State of California Driver's License.
- Possession of certification as a Residential Plans Examiner (R3) by the ICC or other equivalent certification and obtain certification as a Building Plans Examiner (B3) by the ICC within one year of date of hire.
