- Will also perform general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining apartments, buildings, community spaces, adjacent walks and grounds, grass, and equipment in clean, orderly, and functional condition, as well as providing assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees, as necessary.
- Being a maintenance worker requires light troubleshooting abilities for a variety of different types of machinery and equipment like electricity, plumbing and occasionally janitorial or lawn maintenance.
- Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
- to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.)
- Repair broken windows; repair doors, door locks and closets; install window blinds
