- Position Summary The University of New Mexico-Gallup invites applications for a full-time Lecturer III in Fine Arts (with emphasis on managing the campus art gallery and teaching painting, drawing, and printmaking courses) to begin in August 2024.
- UNM-Gallup serves multiple high school populations including McKinley Academy, Middle College High School, and the Center for Career and Technical Education.
- The successful candidate will be expected to teach 18 credits per academic year in the areas of Painting, Drawing, foundations and Printmaking, manage the campus art gallery, maintain an active scholarship/service record (as defined by the UUNM CBA), participate in monthly Division meetings, and execute other relevant duties as agreed upon in conjunction with the division chair in an annual faculty-chair agreement.
- In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through actively practicing inclusive behavior and proactively managing bias.
- QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s in Fine Arts degree ina studio art discipline from an accredited institution.
