Job Summary:The Electrical Engineering Directorate is responsible for the guidance, navigation, signal processing, target detection and tracking system functions of the electrical subsystems used in our products. Job tasks of these roles vary but include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment, performing system and circuit level analysis, supporting failure investigations, maintaining, and creating documentation, and interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers. The position requires frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts, techniques, and department standard processes.This position is an onsite role.Responsibilities to Anticipate:Your experience as a Power Engineer may include any of the following:<ul><li>Designing circuits</li><li>Testing electronic hardware</li><li>Operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment</li><li>Analyzing and simulating electronic designs</li><li>Modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools</li><li>Working with power conversion circuitry including linear regulators and/or switching converters; working with buck, boost, and buck-boost converters</li><li>Selecting parts (and alternate parts) for electronic designs</li><li>Guiding drafters though the physical design of printed circuit boards</li></ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Engineering simulation tools including any one of the following Spice, PSpice, LTspice, Matlab, Mathcad, Simulink, or any other circuit simulation tools.</li></ul><ul><li>This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).</li></ul><ul><li>The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
