- Being a Crew Leader is more than a job - It is work that feels good and has a purpose preserving, conserving and protecting our public lands for future generations.
- It also is one of the BEST opportunities to network with a wide range of land management professionals on the job - getting your foot in the door to become a member of a National Park Service, National Monument, Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management team after your internship!
- Potentially getting to know the locals and hidden “gems” that the average tourist won’t know about.
- Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of a Crew Leader is leading and supervising a group of 4-5 fellow peers/college aged crew members on a variety of projects for local public land agencies in areas such as recreation, wildlife, maintenance, re-vegetation, restoration, facilities, and other related fields.
- They will have the chance to work and learn under our partners at the National Forest Service, National Park Service, National Monument and the Bureau of Land Management.
