- Job Description: HARDWARE ENGINEER - Applies engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis to ensure supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle.
- Analyzes data to produce support, flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements.
- Provides engineering and on-site technical assistance to customer's products including, ground support equipment, training devices, training facilities, operations facilities and maintenance facilities.
- The C-17 Aircrew Training System (ATS) Training System Support Center (TSSC) Hardware Engineer performs logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability of C-17 Aircrew Training Devices (ATD); researches and provides technical information used to develop and maintain the C-17 ATDs and engineering data.
- Supports the data collection and analysis needs to respond to customer inquiries.
