The story of our US-Ukraine connection started when Kevin met Dave. Days away from quitting his last "real" job as a seafood plant manager, Kevin reconnected with a long-lost friend from high school. Little did he know, this long-lost friend was dating his soon-to-be business partner. After meeting Dave through their mutual connection, it didn't take long for the two to start bouncing business ideas off each other. The flow of creativity soon grew into a business partnership that has withstood the test of time.

Into the Heart of the Ukrainian-Russian Conflict

Kevin and Dave formed a team of 20 Ukrainian developers and QA, with Igor as Lead Developer. When Russia invaded, Kevin, Dave and Robert worked together to get Igor and his family to safety in Poland. After a long and risky mission, Igor and his family were able to cross the border and return home to Lviv.

**How you will make an impact:**

+ Identifies opportunities for engagement of member and their families in forming a supportive recovery network.

+ Develops and implements provision of onsite psychiatric discharge planning education at Recovery and Resiliency sites.

+ Collaborates with Stabilization Teams as a member advocate in discharge planning education, resolution of barriers and service transitions.

+ Acts as a resource for staff on decision making and problem solving.

+ Initiates and maintains contact with assigned individuals and providers to determine member's response to services.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Requires AA/AS.

+ Minimum of two years of experience in health services, behavioral health field, or in a peer support services role.

+ Any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Peer Certification required

**Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences**

+ Knowledge of care-coordination and case management concepts

+ BA/BS or MBA preferred

+ Experience within the community

+ Previous experience as a Peer Specialist

+ Self-started and motivated
