Completion of a basic aide training program and/or Direct Care Worker test consistent with state/federal requirements. Category:Direct Care Worker. Tasks to be performed by a DCW must be assigned by and performed under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and/or appropriate supervisor, who will be responsible for the client care provided by the DCW.
