As an Assistant Manager in the Reinsurance claims department you will have the unique opportunity to work with some of the industry's top talent in Reinsurance Claims. You will be responsible for managing staff handling assumed reinsurance claims involving complex and high exposure risks across various lines of business, both domestic and international.

The Statistical Analyst A will use standard SAS and/or STATA programming skills to create analytical datasets from clinical trials, surveys, and health care claims, to construct and standardize outcome measures and other analytical variables through data cleaning and data manipulation, to provide descriptive and analytical reports, and to perform specialized statistical analyses.

Handles a variety of matters assigned by the General Counsel, including claims and litigation management, employment matters, collections, research projects, compliance and risk, and corporate governance.

Make civil and structural assessments from a variety of causes such as fire, wind, impact, construction standard of care, estimation, vibration claims, and building envelope breakdown. Required Skills and AbilitiesFive plus years of experience, which include at least two of the following: Design, Construction, Materials, Geotechnical, Structural, Water Resources, Geometrics (Transportation), Commercial Construction, Residential Construction, Resident Engineer, Estimation, Knowledge of a variety of Construction Documents, Construction Administration and Construction Management.

Assist in preparing party submissions and expert reports for projects involving mergers & acquisitions post-acquisition disputes, related to working capital and other purchase price adjustments, earn-outs, and representation and warranty claims primarily related to accounting and damage issues.

Performing data analytics with respect to medical and pharmacy claims, population health management and value-based care contracts, Social Determinants of Health data, Care management processes including experience simulating care management outcomes and Medical economics.

Experience with specialty products acquired through specialty pharmacy networks and through buy-and-bill process, including expertise in acquisition, billing and coding, claims processing, and reimbursement.

As an integral member of the Claims team for our Third-Party Administrator, you will have the responsibility to investigate, coordinate and evaluate the legal liability of any party involved in clai.

Interact with all departments, specifically: Actuary, Claims, Pharmacy, UM, Medical Affairs, Information Systems, Internal Audit and Human Resources to coordinate additional information necessary for monthly close and regulatory reporting.
