This position requires you to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and be able to lift up to 35 to 50 pounds. A Sales Associate will also be responsible for processing transactions of customers on a computerized POS register, maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area, and clean and stock merchandise.

Provides quality service in the fitting rooms, follows up with customers in a timely manner and maintains cash wrap cleanliness. The sales associate will also be responsible for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (i.e. housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.

Drives store sales which may include performing in all Five Below services (ear piercing, balloons, buy online pick up in store, etc.) Key traits include having amazing people and selling skills, a keen eye for ensuring merchandise is on the floor in an organized fashion, keeping the floor stocked-up flawlessly and providing super smooth transactions at the register.

Assistance with the set-up of advertising displays or arrangements of merchandise to promote sales in an attractive and functional manner, obtaining maximum exhibition and demonstration advantages.

Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom; and help set up sidewalk displays. Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet.

The physical demands of the job require climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds and may require 8 hours of standing/walking. The Sales Associate will support the Store Management Team by generating sales, conducting housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, POS operations and loss prevention in adherence to all Company policies and procedures.

Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.

Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds to process product shipment/transfersSchedule: Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays high retail traffic and sales days including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, etc.

Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions; In outlet or Hub locations the requirement is 80+ pounds. Team up with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction.
