Oversees and coordinates all facilities service requests including but not limited to, purchase, delivery, storage and distribution of supplies, office space issues, case-, work- and file-rooms, furniture repair and replacement, key and lock repair and replacement, and repair and replacement of all non-Information Technology equipment and appliances (i.e. ice machines, water coolers, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.

Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms to include: vinyl repair touch up paint minor furniture repair tub caulking tile repairs etc. Perform plumbing repair laundry equipment repair preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply; monitor energy conservation; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request.

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation maintenance service and repair of equipment as assigned. Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment.

Must have a primary skilled trade of Carpenter and secondary skilled trade, one of which must be electrician, pipe fitter, air conditioning mechanic, maintenance welder or manufacturing machine repair.

Delivery & Assembly Contractor Team (fitness equipment, furniture, home goods) Cargo, sprinter, or smaller box trucks preferred. Especially big-ticket residential orders, such as exercise equipment, furniture, home goods, playsets, gazebos and similar products.

Carpenters perform a variety of tasks for maintaining and supporting the facilities including but not limited to patching/painting, flooring, suspended ceiling installs, door lock repairs, replacement and maintenance, furniture installation and repairs, hang pictures, signs, banners, whiteboards etc., floor taping for efficient process flows and a variety of other production support tasks.

Measures, saws, fits, sands, nails and screws as necessary to construct or repair partitions, doors, windows, floors, furniture, and so forth. Calculates quantity of material needed for repair and requisitions.

This position is located in the Maintenance and Repair Unit, Engineering Section of Facilities Management Service Line (FMS) of the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (CMC V AMC) and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

These duties include but are not limited to: Installation and drywall repair, Painting, Carpentry, Intermediate plumbing, Intermediate electrical work and installation, HVAC PM's and repairs, Filter changes, Ceiling tile installation and maintenance, assembly of furniture and equipment, Snow and ice removal.

Minor maintenance and repair including painting, assembling furniture, moving furniture etc. General cleaning services including trash removal, discarding furniture and other nonfunctional items.

Performs a variety of duties in and around buildings and grounds of Inspira Health Network to maintain equipment, machinery, systems, furniture and buildings in good working and structural repair.

Includes but not limited to moving furniture or fixtures, changing lights, light carpentry, painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, repair of minor electrical devices. Battery Maintenance duties will include battery charger repairs, battery changes for MHE, repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers, watering and washing batteries, acid spill clean up, battery rack cleaning, battery area sweeping and cleaning, setting equalizing charge on batteries.

Responsible for logging time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) on a daily basis in the form of work orders, P.M.s, etc. Learn to perform and maintain power material handling equipment (MHE) including preventive maintenance (PM) of MHE fleet checking, draining and filling oil levels as needed, checking, adjusting, or replacing all belts and chains as needed, checking and troubleshooting electrical controls issues, replacing motors and controls, safety checks, PM per manufacturers recommendations.

Properly prepares area or items for painting including surface preparation, masking areas as necessary, removing fixtures and covering furniture. Under direction of a Lead General Repair Working Foreman or supervisor undertakes maintenance tasks involving plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical work.

Inspect and maintain plumbing system, replace or repair faucets, toilet stools, urinals, traps, drains, basins and bathtubs, as needed; repair or refinisher furniture in rooms, offices and dining room as needed.
