The Emory University Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, in collaboration with Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, is seeking a clinical neonatologist to join our faculty. The faculty member will contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division of Neonatology and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta with clinical coverage in the NICU and participation in student, resident, and fellow education.

The role of the Americorps Teaching Fellow includes lesson planning, student engagement, classroom management, and administration in order to effectively prepare metro-Atlanta students to be successful in the ensuing school year.

Completion of program preparation in the teaching field or discipline at an accredited private or public post-secondary institution as well as a minimum of (3) three years recent in field work experience as a barber or barber instructor.

Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Preferred is knowledge of health promotion, behavior changes and population-based theories; evidence based health promotions programs/initiatives; environmental management strategies/ecological model; and, student development theories and models.

Oversees nursing assistant education including teaching/managing CNA classes; ensures in-service content meets regulatory requirement and individual needs.
