In the event that a Group Exercise Instructor cannot fulfill a scheduled class, it is his/her responsibility to find a qualified/approved substitute and notify the Group Exercise Director if there is a problem finding a substitute.

Bachelor's Degree in exercise science or other relevant health and wellness profession (OR) Certification as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, or Certified strength and conditioning specialist from a regionally recognized and third party accredited certification organization.

Personal Care Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail /skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair, walker, crutches, cane), change of position, with toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding.

Completed or currently enrolled in an accredited academic credit program or in a nationally recognized certificate program in Health/Wellness Science, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Personal Fitness Training or a related field.

Exercise independent judgment and discretion in making recommendations to management in the areas of, performance management, budget preparation/execution, personnel processing systems, business systems, contract administration, strategic communications planning/execution, workforce planning/forecasting, training initiatives, work-life programs, and other human resource/personnel initiatives.

The exercise of supervisory authority by the Floor Nurse is required even at times that the ADON/UM are on duty. As a Floor Nurse with Solaris, you are considered to be a Supervisor and need to exercise supervisory authority over all non-licensed nursing staff.
