Passionate.\n\nJob Description\n\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nThe Finance team is responsible for all the accounting, financial statements and reporting, budget preparation and forecasting and internal controls for Stream Data Centers and its wholly owned subsidiaries. The team is responsible for working closely with the investments team to manage capital expenditures and ensuring proper handling of all capital. We strive to be nimble to support growth but also challenge how things are done to ensure the highest level of compliance and financial integrity. We support the business cradle to grave from capital raising, sales and leasing, site selection and development, design, and construction, to operations. We are always looking for ways to be more scalable and automated so that we can continue to grow at incredibly fast rates.\nThis is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment and wants to be part of our transformation. It is a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of financial management and is an opportunity to shape and influence the financial health and strategy of the organization. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance and can be based in Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; or Phoenix, AZ.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage both the Corporate and JV (Property) Level Accounting teams through financial close process\nDirect management of 5-8 individuals\nDevelop more robust accounting policies, procedures and internal controls\nEnsure treasury, cash management and cash controls are in place and internally audited on a periodic basis.\nDevelop a more robust and systematic eliminations process to help with consolidations and reporting.\nWork with the finance team on tax incentives in multiple states including but not limited to: Arizona, Illinois, Texas, Georgia, Virginia and Ohio\nLead transition from tax basis accounting to GAAP accounting on all corporate entities.\nLead Continuous improvement activities on monthly reporting process to make it faster, more accurate, and provide new information.\nLead projects to get ad hoc processes defined and developed to drive future growth and scalability.\nExperience working in a fast-paced start-up culture and making 2-way door decisions.\n\nQualifications\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES):\n7+ years in FP&A, finance, accounting, or finance supporting function\nGAAP Accounting, focus on ASC 310, 606 and 842\nExperience managing teams and driving process improvement\nLarge Scale Project/Development Accounting experience (job cost coding)\nStrong background in IRS Tax Laws\nExperience with Tableau, NetSuite, SQL, SAP, Salesforce or other analytics tools\nExperience with large numbers of charges, contracts, and accounts\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels in the organization\nHighest regard for accuracy and completeness\nHigh degree of comfort with a P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement\nEDUCATION:\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Economics, or Accounting required\nCertified Public Accountant required\n\nAdditional Information\n\nStream is an equal-opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, military status, or any other reason prohibited by law.
