This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with foundational CNC programming knowledge to launch their career and grow within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nDevelop and write CNC programs using Mastercam software for various machining operations (milling, turning, etc.) on multi-axis CNC machines.\nInterpret engineering drawings and 3D models to determine machining requirements and optimal tool paths.\nSelect appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters for different materials and geometries.\nSimulate and verify CNC programs to detect and correct potential errors, collisions, or inefficiencies before actual machining.\nCollaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve part quality and production efficiency.\nPerform basic machine setup and operation for program testing and validation.\nDocument program changes, setup sheets, and operational procedures.\n\nGENERAL:\nRequired: Certificate in Mastercam.\nStrong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings featuring GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to [e.g., 30-50] pounds.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.\n\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
