Also assist in developing and implementing appropriate safety and health management processes and systems at the site level and support functional objectives within the framework of Fresh Mark, Inc.’s corporate philosophy.\n\nKey Accountabilities\n\nRecognize hazards to identify conditions or actions that may cause injury, illness or property damage.\n\nConduct inspections and audits to assess safety and health risks associated with equipment, materials, processes, etc.\n\nProvide employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize hazards and perform their jobs safely and effectively.\n\nAssist managers and supervisors to establish regulatory objectives, plan programs to achieve those objectives and integrate safety into the culture of the organization.\n\nEnsure compliance with all safety & health and environmental regulations and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.\n\nProvide training to employees on topics such as lockout/tagout (authorized machine specific, general), hazard communication, hearing protection, emergency procedures, machine guarding, etc.\n\nParticipate in the accident investigation program.\n\nMonitor employee compliance with established safety programs.\n\nLead and administer activities of the facility Safety Committee and serve on the various compliance teams (Safety/Regulatory Team, PSM Team, etc.) to ensure corporate consistency.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Science, Safety Technology, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene or related field.\n\nMust possess strong organizational and verbal & written communication skills.\n\nMust possess strong leadership and people skills.\n\nWe invite you to be part of our exciting team and rapidly growing business.\n\nFresh Mark provides an excellent work environment and comprehensive benefits including paid vacations and holidays, educational assistance and reimbursement, health care with low premiums and deductibles, vision, 401K with company match and more.\n\nAll applicants applying for positions with Fresh Mark must accept the Employment Application Consent Form to continue their candidacy.
