Senior Project Manager (Environmental)

Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Geologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geological sciences and demonstrate expertise in research and data analysis as well as have experience dealing with the Georgia Brownfield, Voluntary Remediation, and Response and Remediation Programs. This role involves preparing and submitting reports to EPD, conducting scientific research, analyzing geological data, and providing insights that will contribute to various projects. The Senior Geologist will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to industry standards. Duties - Conduct comprehensive geological research and analysis to support project development. - Interacting with clients and regulators - Data collection and report preparation - Develop sampling plans and proposals - Oversight of field activities - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in geological sciences. Experience - A degree in Geology or a related field is required; advanced degrees and/or being a registered P.E. with experience is preferred. - Proven experience in scientific research, data collection, and analysis within the geosciences field. - Experience in or a willingness to learn fate and transport modeling and statistical analysis of data trends is required. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. - Excellent communication skills for presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
