Clean dies in press and after production run. Transport dies to tooling location to be worked on and open dies up. Repair grippers.\r\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nEnter all time for the day into SAP (work order system). All work performed that day needs to be documented in SAP\r\nWhen completing a work orders ensure all the proper checks have been completed\r\nFinish work orders on time\r\nEscalate any issues you're unsure of to your lead or supervisor\r\nContinuously work on improvements throughout the department to keep cost down as it relates to all areas of the plant\r\nBe ready to work at start of shift, and take the initiative to receive a pass down from the prior shift. Stay busy until the shift is over\r\nResponsible for downtime as it relates to tooling that you've worked on\r\nWork with team leader throughout the day to understand priorities\r\nAdapt to schedule changes and needs of the plant\r\nEnsure standard work is followed\r\nComplete die setter checklist\r\nAttend daily meetings to discuss work load\r\nResponsible to work with the leads and supervisor's for training in different areas\r\nWork with leads and supervisors on new improvements or new ideas\r\nAttend learning opportunities to gain professional and technical knowledge\r\nAssure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized, Lockout/Tagout procedures are adhered to, PPE is worn correctly at all times, and reporting of any near-misses, injuries, or accidents occurs immediately.\r\nKeep work area clean and orderly to prevent safety hazards.\r\nAssure adherence to quality policies and procedures including acceptable work standards, customer specifications and IPI requirements, to also include participation in the creation and support of systems, documentation and actions to ensure continued conformance to Quality (IATF) and Environmental (ISO) management systems.\r\nObserve and follow company policies and maintain proper standards of conduct at all times.\r\nAll other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values.\r\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\r\nHigh School Diploma/GED\r\nPrefer 1-2 years' experience working in a manufacturing plant\r\nPrefer experience setting dies\r\nPrefer experience running cranes and hilo\r\nComputer proficiencyWord and SAP is a plus\r\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\r\nDemonstrate a sense of urgency when the schedule changes\r\nDemonstrates respect to others with a positive and supportive attitude\r\nCommunication skills including written, verbal, and listening\r\nStrong organizational skills, with follow up\r\nAbility to work overtime as required\r\nMust be able to work different hours/shifts as manpower requirements or issues deem necessary\r\nLearn how to work on precision handling equipment for the press lines\r\nClean dies inside and outside the press lines\r\nOperate all cranes, hilo's, die cart, and any other equipment for working on dies or die setting assets\r\nKnowledge on setting dies on all assets that tooling is required to set\r\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to hire the best candidate regardless of age, beliefs, disability, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.\r\nAbout UsWe are a multi-technology company present in over 20 countries and our team of over 40,000 is made up of 90 different nationalities.
