This role is responsible for ensuring that all menu items are prepared accurately, working with the team to manage low ticket times and uncompromising food quality, practicing safe food handling, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and working under pressure.\nCooks report to the Kitchen Manager\nQualifications:\nKitchen experience preferred but not required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nExemplifies the company’s core values\nEnsures optimum guest experience\nHolds team accountable for quality, consistency, and upkeep of sanitization standards as set forth by company and state regulations\nPractices an ownership mentality with an emphasis in motivation and teamwork\nMaintains highest levels of quality & presentation\nAccurately portions all orders to ensure low food cost\nSafety:\nEnsures areas are free from hazards that would potentially injure staff or guests\nAddresses and immediately corrects any practices that lower safety standards\nEducation and/or Experience:\nKitchen experience preferred, but not required\nAbility and willingness to eventually learn all stations on the line\nComputer skills:\nUnderstands and can operate the POS system\nLanguage skills:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.\nMathematical skills:\nBasic Mathematics\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to solve practical problems deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
