Maintenance Staff Job Description Position Overview:The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring that the restaurant’s facilities and equipment are in good working order. The ideal candidate is handy, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and functional environment.Key Responsibilities:Facility Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and minor troubleshooting.Ensure that all restaurant areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and restrooms, are clean and safe.Equipment Maintenance:Perform regular inspections of kitchen and restaurant equipment to ensure proper functioning.Address any equipment malfunctions and report issues to management.Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including handling chemicals and using tools safely.Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with health and safety standards.Qualifications:Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role is required.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
