This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of tools and machinery, providing a fulfilling career in equipment repair and maintenance.\nResponsibilities\nPerform detailed diagnostics on small engines to identify issues accurately using schematics and technical manuals\nRepair and overhaul small engines, including carburetors, ignition systems, fuel systems, and electrical components\nConduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and filter replacements to ensure optimal performance\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs effectively\nInterpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex engine problems\nTest repaired equipment to verify proper operation before returning it to the customer or inventory\nMaintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed\nRequirements\nMust have a truck for pickup and delivery service with a hitch attachment (hitch will be provided)- Fuel and Extra pay will be included with this\nProven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership or equipment repair background\nStrong mechanical knowledge of small engines, including diesel engine repair and automotive repair skills\nFamiliarity with schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting electrical issues in small engines\nExperience working with specialized heavy machinery is a plus\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting safety practices\nAbility to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for diagnostics and repairs\nExcellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly\nPrevious experience in equipment repair or generator repair is highly desirable\nKnowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and sales experience can be advantageous\nEmbark on a career where your mechanical expertise fuels success!
