Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer | Gallatin, TNWe are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality initiatives, process improvement, and new product development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with suppliers, quality, engineering, and purchasing teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with suppliers and internal teams to improve manufacturing processes and supplier quality performanceLead supplier audits, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport PPAP activities, process controls, and quality assurance planning for new and existing componentsInterpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements while utilizing quality tools and statistical analysis methodsDrive supplier development and process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues and improve performanceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required5+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of PPAP, GD&T, ISO-9001, Lean Manufacturing, and quality systemsExperience with metal machining, stamping, and casting processes preferredSix Sigma and supplier audit experience strongly preferredStrong communication, problem-solving, and project management skillsWhat’s OfferedStable, growth-oriented manufacturing environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageMedical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, tuition assistance, and additional employee programs
