Cook/Floater- Child Care

Full Job Description Above and Beyond Preschool is seeking a Full-time cook. Must have knowledge of cooking, managing your time and staying on task. Must be willing to learn the food program and follow it. You will work closely to the Director. We are a daycare of around 40+ kids. Hours are 7:30am to 1:00 pm As the cook then you will assist in classroom from 2:00pm-4:30pm. Must be willing to be flexible, organized, and love kids. Duties include but are not limited to: Preparing and/or serving snacks and hot lunches for children enrolled in Child Care Center. Organizing and cleaning kitchen according to health department standards. Maintaining nutritional requirements as identified by supervisor. Preparing and cooking all of the meals that will be served to the children in their care. Cleaning up after these meals, washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Having a deep understanding of nutrition and food safety standards. Ensuring that food is stored and handled properly, and that the kitchen and all its equipment are thoroughly sanitary. Preparing menus, shop list and putting away items when delivered. Order Milk and Bread on weekly basis.
