Join our team and create, improve and innovate the everyday!\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Press Operator will process Tinplate and Wire-mesh material into finished and semi-finished product via various slitting, cutting, and punching techniques.\nShift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm\nKey Technical Responsibilities\nOperate punch presses and other production equipment used in slitting, cutting, and punching tinplate and wire-mesh materials.\nRead and interpret work orders, production instructions, and basic technical drawings to ensure accurate product specifications.\nMonitor production output and achieve established hourly production goals.\nRecord material usage, labor hours, and production data accurately using tracking systems and computer applications.\nPerform in-process quality inspections and measurements to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance requirements.\nIdentify equipment issues, machine malfunctions, or process concerns and promptly communicate them to supervision.\nComplete basic preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and maintain equipment cleanliness.\nMaintain an organized workstation and adhere to all safety, quality, and ISO-related procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower costs.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation/Experience\nOne (1) year of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred; equivalent training or experience will be considered.\nExperience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nManufacturing/Technical Skills.\nOne (1) year of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred;
