Apply online today!\nSummary: The Traveling Finish Technician is a skilled craft professional responsible for performing finish-stage construction activities on tenant improvement, renovation, retail refresh, and light industrial projects throughout the United States. This is a travel-intensive role requiring deployment to project locations nationwide in support of Sevan’s self-perform operations. Working under the direction of a Foreman and/or Superintendent, this role performs painting, drywall finishing, tile installation, finish trim work, punch list activities, and other closeout-related tasks that ensure projects are completed to Sevan's quality standards. The Finish Technician plays a critical role in final project appearance, quality assurance, and turnover readiness.\nTravel Requirements:\nExtensive nationwide travel is required.\nEmployees should expect to travel to project locations for extended periods based on business needs.\nCompany-paid lodging, travel accommodations, and applicable per diem are provided in accordance with company policy.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform painting, coating, and finishing applications on walls, ceilings, doors, frames, cabinetry, millwork, and other building surfaces.\nPrepare surfaces for painting and finishing, including cleaning, patching, sanding, masking, and protecting adjacent areas.\nPerform drywall finishing activities, including taping, mudding, sanding, texture matching, and Level 4/5 finish work.\nPerform layout, installation, grouting, sealing, and finishing of floor and wall tile systems.\nPerform detailed finish carpentry, trim work, and finish touch-ups as required.\nComplete punch list items and corrective work efficiently and accurately.\nIdentify and resolve finish-quality deficiencies prior to project turnover.\nSupport final inspections and project closeout activities.\nClean, maintain, and properly store tools, equipment, and materials.\nSafely use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment as required.\nCoordinate work activities with Foremen, Superintendents, other craft professionals, and trade partners.\nPerform work with minimal supervision and maintain finish-quality standards throughout the final phases of construction.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and all applicable regulations.\nTravel to project locations as required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nTwo (2) or more years of experience in commercial painting, drywall finishing, tile installation, interior finishes, or related construction trades preferred.\nExperience with painting, coatings, drywall finishing, surface preparation, touch-up work, and punch list/closeout activities.\nExperience installing floor and wall tile, including layout, cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing.\nKnowledge of paints, coatings, sealants, adhesives, and related materials.\nAbility to read and interpret project drawings, finish schedules, manufacturer specifications, and related construction documents.\nCompetent use of painting, drywall finishing, tile, and hand tools and equipment, including sprayers, rollers, brushes, and sanding equipment.\nExperience working on commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial, tenant improvement, or renovation projects preferred.\nOSHA 10 certification required or ability to obtain; OSHA 30 preferred.\nAbility and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.\nWhy Join Sevan?\nCompany-paid travel\nCompany-paid lodging\nPer diem while traveling\nOpportunity for overtime\nAdvancement into Carpenter, Foreman and Superintendent roles\nYear-round nationwide work\nHigh-quality tools and equipment\nTraining and career development\nSevan Multi-Site Solutions is a veteran-owned business that provides construction, program management, real estate & site development, and architecture & engineering services for restaurant, grocery, fuel and convenience store, retail, and government sectors nationwide.
