Find out more at www.TransdevNA.com or watch an overview video at https://youtu.be/ilO5cv0G4mQ\nWe’re Hiring for a Operations Supervisor, in Phoenix, AZ!\nTransdev is proud to offer:\n$20.60/hour\nAttractive benefits package, including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and vision.\nPaid time off & vacation.\nOur Road/Dispatch Supervisors are responsible for:\nCommunicates job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.\nTakes responsibility for day to day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports to local management.\nConducts on-the-scene accident investigation; assists drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA\nreports and safety violations documents.\nObserves drivers on the road, and corrects safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.\nLiaisons between drivers and both clients and organization in customer service issues.\nEvaluates and monitors driver safety and performance, as well as compliance in legal, employment and\nlabor policy matters.\nAssists in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.\nMeets all driver qualifications at location.\nObtains a CDL required to operate vehicles at location, maintains that license, and drives route\nperiodically.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\nTo qualify as a Road/Dispatch Supervisor, you’ll need:\nA High School Diploma or GED\nSupervisory experience with hourly employees, mass transit supervisory experience preferred.\nComputer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nFamiliar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance\nExcellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials and general public; fluent in English\nWork extended hours regularly, including Saturday\nPossess working vehicle to travel with in service area as needed\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
