Tax Managers are responsible for the management of all phases of tax compliance for assigned clients in a variety of industries. Managers participate in firm administration and management, including staff and firm development.Competencies and Position RequirementsDedicated to high-caliber client serviceSupervise staff and seniors and review their work product for completeness and accuracyProvide timely, high quality services that meet or exceed client expectationsDevelops a rapport with client personnel and the firm engagement teamExcellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Demonstrate advanced knowledge of tax compliance and planning at both the federal and state levels in the areas of individuals, trusts, and estates. Responsible for timely and effective explaining of tax objectives, budget information, and other relevant engagement information to staff and seniors. Researches tax issues and develops sound solutions, and comfortably discusses issues with the engagement principal and managementMonitors job progression, including budgeted versus actual hours, and provides timely updates to the principalUses technical expertise to develop others through training sessions, mentoring, supervision, and coachingProvides seniors and staff with timely, honest, and constructive feedback Seeks to identify proposal opportunities for services to existing or prospective clients, and communicates opportunities on a timely basis to firm managementEducation And Experience5 or more years of experience providing tax compliance and planning services to high net worth individuals and family groupsCPA or JD (MST or LLM in Taxation a plus)Work EnvironmentMinimal travel requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs Hybrid work optionSupportive and collaborative cultureBenefitsBNN strongly believes in maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
