Applicants should have the ability to:\nConfer with Project Controls Manager to establish and maintain documentation tracking and reporting procedures on projects.\nConfer with Project Controls Manager to establish and maintain file systems and document controls distribution as required.\nRequisition material purchase orders according to bid documents and approved vendors as required.\nConfer with Project Controls Manager to estimate labor, price materials, and prepare change orders.\nSupport the cost plus/lump sum billing procedures according to contract specifications as required.\nSupport document flow to regional office, field and client.\nParticipate in solving problems with Accounting and Client on invoicing when necessary.\nManage the material release schedule and delivery with Purchasing Agent and Project Controls Manager/Project Manager/Supervisor.\nAcquire growing awareness of client relations through communication and personal interaction.\nSupport payroll data entry and processing as required.\nSupport miscellaneous office administration as required.\nSupport tool/equipment inventory tracking and requisitioning as required.\nQualifications:\nIntegrity in dealings with other associates and clients.\nAbility to work with diverse workforce in the department and company.\nStrong verbal and written communication and technical translation.\nGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\nGeneral knowledge of electrical and instrumentation materials, tools, and equipment.\nStrong personal character that exhibits dependability, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, and attention to detail.\nGeneral knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point,\nand Vista.\nReasonable ability to self-manage especially in the areas of planning, organizing,\ndelegating and decision making.\nPrerequisites:\nConstruction management degree or related technical degree; Approximately six months to one year of hands-on field experience in the industrial electrical and instrumentation industry; Approximately two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation project controls.
