Customer Service Associate (cashier)
Our convenience store is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Associate (Cashier) to join our team. As a CSC, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive a positive shopping experience while accurately processing their purchases.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a welcoming and courteous manner
Scan and bag customer purchases accurately
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have
Follow all safety and security procedures
Sign customers up and explain our loyalty program
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and computer skills
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required
