By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.\n\nABOUT THE TEAM\nAnduril’s Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) is a division with two missions: build highly capable autonomous drones and build solid rocket motors at scale. We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high‑volume production methods—delivering safe, reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires engineers passionate about rapid prototyping and scalability to a full‑fledged product line, contributing to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in demanding mission environments.\n\nABOUT THE JOB\nDo you like designing things that fly fast, sometimes explode, and make a big impact on world events? We are looking for an Electrical Component Engineer to join the team. TRS focuses on rapid prototyping and iterative development to enable fast deployment of products in support of defense for the US and our allies.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nCollaborate with design engineers to identify critical design and reliability issues and vulnerabilities related to functionality and manufacturing.\n\nSupport design from concept to flight delivery for R&D/prototype designs with a goal to transition to product line ramp‑up and production of new drones, rocket motor systems, and more.\n\nWork with test and manufacturing to aid in reliability bring‑up, tester design, breakout board design, and configuration.\n\nSimplify designs, leveraging commonality across product lines where applicable.\n\nTroubleshoot issues that span electrical and software boundaries, using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and software debugging tools.\n\nWork closely with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.\n\nOperate in a fast‑paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer‑operated hardware.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nLab‑based prototyping / research and development experience.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Sciences, or equivalent.\n\n3+ years in a test and validation role.\n\nExperience working on products used in extreme environments (aerospace, defense, etc.).\n\nU.S. Person status is required to access export‑controlled data.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nSystems engineering and architectural trade experience with payloads or products.\n\nProficiency with embedded software and firmware (C/Linux is a plus).\n\nExperience developing for a safety‑critical environment.\n\nKnowledge of software protocols for embedded development, including timers, interrupts, and hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs.\n\nSALES RANGE\nUS Salary Range: $146,000 - $194,000 USD. The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual offer may vary based on experience, education, and business considerations. Competitive equity grants and top‑tier benefits are included.\n\nBENEFITS\nAnduril offers a comprehensive benefits package to support health, recovery, and well‑being. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other standard corporate perks.\n\nEXPORT CONTROLS\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export controls. Eligibility to handle export‑controlled data is required.\n\nEEO STATEMENT\nAs set forth in Anduril Industries’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law.\n\n#J-18808-Ljbffr","company":"Linuxconfig","rawCompany":"linuxconfig","city":"Costa Mesa","state":"CA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-16T03:53:37.858Z","occupations":[{"code":"17-2072.00","title":"Electronics Engineers, Except Computer","slug":"electronics-engineers-except-computer"},{"code":"17-2071.00","title":"Electrical Engineers","slug":"electrical-engineers"},{"code":"17-2199.00","title":"Engineers, All Other","slug":"engineers-all-other"}],"industries":[{"code":"334511","title":"Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing","slug":"search-detection-navigation-guidance-aeronautical-and-nautical-system-and-instrument-manufacturing"},{"code":"335999","title":"All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing","slug":"all-other-miscellaneous-electrical-equipment-and-component-manufacturing"},{"code":"541715","title":"Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology)","slug":"research-and-development-in-the-physical-engineering-and-life-sciences-except-nanotechnology-and-biotechnology"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Senior Electrical Test Engineer","description":"Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.
