Physical requirements include the ability to push/pull 50 to 100 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.BenefitsThe salary range for this position starts at Step 1 ($33.80) and progresses in accordance with the union contract.ResponsibilitiesThe Stockhandler orders, receives, records, stores, prepackages, issues, and maintains adequate stock of material, equipment and supplies in the substation maintenance storeroom. In addition, the employee may deliver materials to field locations and prepare materials for specific jobs. Other duties include assisting with environmental issues, maintaining shop and yard cleanliness, performing weekly material inventories, and other duties as assigned. Normal working hours for this position will be from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise assigned. Individual filling this position will be expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime and will have storm restoration and emergency assignments. Responding to emergency situations to meet customers' needs is part of every employee's role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment.
