This role encompasses leadership of a joint Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) crown jewel program, delivering specialized space/counter-space engineering, scientific, and analytical services from Aurora, Colorado. This program provides comprehensive engineering, integration, modeling, simulation, and analysis services to address the needs of National Security space customers. By executing both ground and space studies, and conducting deployed collection campaigns, our team validates mission use cases and feasibility. We integrate mission, payload, and operational utility analyses to deliver critical mission reports that directly influence program development and operations.\n\nOur team is composed of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in diverse fields such as physics, mathematics, RF, optics, space acquisition and operations, and intelligence collection and analysis. Together, we support the most advanced IC and DoD space programs, offering profound, technical work with significant national impact.\nThis position requires a TS/SCI security clearance, with Polygraph preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\nServe as the Customer’s primary point of contact for all aspects of the Government contract, including technical, administrative, and contractual matters.\nOversee procurement of specialized hardware to support space analysis and trade studies.\nEnsure all tasks within the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW), including management support, technical services, and surge capabilities, are accomplished efficiently.\nCultivate and maintain effective working relationships with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.\nManage staffing, quality, and performance on the contract, including oversight, coordination, and administration of multiple subcontracts.\nConduct corporate financial and technical reviews of program performance.\nEnsure timely delivery of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents to the customer.\nOversee a remote work site with $10M+ of government investments and $3M of government-furnished equipment.\nSupervise a bespoke information system environment spanning multiple government customer and mission partner networks of varying classifications.\nProvide leadership, guidance, training, and resources to contract leads, program team leads, and individual performers on the team.\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI clearance; preferably with polygraph.\nProven project or contract management skills to successfully lead a high-performing team in delivering technical engineering analysis services.\nTechnical expertise in space systems analysis, with a robust foundation in modeling and technical analysis.\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field.\nExperience with DoD/IC organizations.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment delivering technical results.\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nMaster’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.\nMinimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, or technical team leader.\nIn-depth knowledge of National Security Space architecture and organizations (IC and/or DoD).\nExperience managing complex, multifaceted projects involving diverse technical teams and deliverables.\nAbility to drive innovation and continuous improvement within engineering and analytical processes.\nFamiliarity with space mission design, satellite operations, or space-based sensor technologies.\nUnderstanding of U.S. Space Domain Awareness (SDA) capabilities and counter-space threats, both domestic and foreign.\nProficiency with project management tools and methodologies.\nExceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-impact decisions under pressure.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with ability for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nTarget salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.
