This role will help strengthen CMC’s safety culture through inspections, training, incident investigations, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.\n\nIf you’re someone who sees a hazard and takes action, communicates well with people at every level, and takes ownership of doing things the right way, we want to hear from you.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs across manufacturing and field locations.\nIdentify hazards, unsafe conditions, and at-risk behaviors and ensure corrective actions are documented and followed through.\nPerform random field trailer inspections for safety, housekeeping, storage, and compliance.\nAssist with incident and accident investigations, including employee interviews, documentation, photographs, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\nCoordinate and track Toolbox Talks and safety training.\nSupport training programs related to OSHA compliance, industrial safety, respiratory protection, PPE, and other safety requirements.\nConduct safety check-ins with new employees to reinforce safety expectations and gather feedback.\nMaintain first-aid supplies, AEDs, fire extinguishers, PPE, and other safety resources.\nMaintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and incident files.\nTrack safety metrics and assist with OSHA, insurance, and internal compliance requirements.\nSupport safety improvement projects, including shop-floor markings, hazard identification, seasonal safety campaigns, and process improvements.\nTravel between CMC locations to provide safety support and maintain a visible presence where work is happening.\nPartner with Production, Field Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership to continuously improve safety performance.\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nExperience with OSHA compliance in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of safety audits, inspections, and accident/incident investigation.\nSafety-related certification or training such as CSP, ASP, or OSHA Outreach Training.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nCSP, ASP, CIH, or other advanced safety certification.\nExperience managing respiratory protection and industrial hygiene programs.\nKnowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.\nExperience with safety management software and data analysis.\nExperience in a large-scale manufacturing or construction environment.\n\nWe’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply enforce safety—but helps build a culture where everyone takes ownership of it.\n\nReady to make an impact?
