Engineering AdministratorThe Engineering Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the engineering team to ensure projects, documentation, and daily workflows run efficiently. This role acts as a central point of coordination between engineers, vendors, and internal departments, helping maintain accurate records, schedules, and communication.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administrative support to the engineering departmentMaintain and organize engineering documentation, drawings, and recordsTrack project timelines, updates, and deliverablesCoordinate meetings, schedules, and communications for engineering staffAssist with purchase requests, vendor coordination, and material trackingPrepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as neededSupport compliance documentation and internal process requirementsMaintain databases and filing systems for engineering projectsCommunicate with cross-functional teams to support project executionQualificationsHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred2+ years of administrative or project coordination experience (engineering environment preferred)Strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with engineering documentation or technical terminologyExperience with project tracking tools or ERP systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
