The program supports\nChico State faculty to identify and develop new programs, courses, and best teaching and mentoring\napproaches to expand graduate student enrollments and student success. We are seeking a highly\ncollaborative individual with strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in graduate\neducation.\n\nUnder the supervision of the Great-Op directors, this position is an essential part of the team and\nprovides critical administrative assistance to the program director, co-director, faculty, and student\nparticipants including tracking and managing payroll, fiscal transactions, annual reporting, and\nprogram event planning and management.\n\nOrganizes, schedules, and helps directors to deliver workshops, meetings, events, and outreach\nactivities\nPrepares and manages promotions including announcements, website updates, posters, and\nsocial media sites\nPrepares and processes business transactions including check requests, procurements, hiring\npaperwork, payroll, and student scholar fellowship paperwork\nSecures and maintains documentation and student data for annual reports and audits\nResearches and reports on academic literature related to best practices to support graduate\nstudent success, particularly related to traditionally underrepresented students.\n\nCoordinates collaborative efforts between the Great-Op program, Graduate Studies, TRIO\npartners, and others\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nEMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:\n\nRequired:\n\nBachelor’s degree\nMinimum 2 years of experience supporting the success of diverse college students including\nLatinx, first-generation, low-income, those with disability, or other individuals\nunderrepresented in higher education\nExperience with graduate education programs and processes\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel\nspreadsheets\n\nProficiency in digital media usage including social medial platforms\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team\nenvironment\n\nAbility to work independently, with only general supervision, and work well with diverse\nindividuals and groups\n\nOrganization skills and ability to prioritize tasks\n\nPreferred:\n\nMaster’s Degree or Master’s Degree in progress\nBilingual in Spanish or Hmong\n\nCOMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:\nSatisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required\nfor employment. Chico State Enterprises will make a conditional offer of employment, which\nmay be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is\ndiscovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
