We offer highly competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. **\n\nJob Summary\n\nAs a Coating Operator, you will work to resurface and texturize customer supplied parts using a spray nozzle as specified by work order instructions.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nIncludes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:\n\nPrepare surfaces by selecting appropriate media and settings based on material type and desired finish.\nBlast parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to specific specifications.\nUnderstand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within this team.\nWork closely with the other departments regarding reworking and communication for incoming/outgoing parts.\nInteract with other blasters regarding jobs that require more than one person to complete.\nMust be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.\nKnow proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).\nAbility to be able to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.\nKnowledge of how to read and understand prints.\nHas basic math and measurement skills\nUnderstands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.\nHas an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality\nMaintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas\n\nSafety:\n\nEmployee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements\n\nWork Environment:\n\nMust be able to function well in an office environment. Must also be able to work in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. Must also be able to perform in a laboratory environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nMust pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.
