They document findings, identify defects or deviations, and work with production teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication are essential to success in this role.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\nPerforms quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products\nInspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production\nRecords observations and may make recommendations for improving processes\nFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry\nRegularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product\nWork with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance\nManage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.\n\nCOUNTY Core Competencies:\nThe expected behaviors of all COUNTY team members that align with Our Values and Our Commitments:\nIntegrity & Organizational Awareness\nCustomer First Focus\nResults Driven Orientation\nTeamwork, Safety & Collaboration\nProblem Solving & Decision Making\nCreativity & Innovation\n\nExperience & Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nExperience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.\nConcrete plant and/or quality control experience highly desired.\nAbility to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.\nSolid math aptitude.\nAbility to work independently.\nStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nPreferred ACI Level I certification or the ability to obtain certifications as directed by leadership.\nValid driver license with clean driving record required.\n\nWork Environment:\nWork in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.\nWork near moving machinery and equipment.\nWork in a noisy environment.\nTypical work hours/shifts: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturdays. Daily working hours varies depending on work assignments and customer needs.\n\nPhysical & Work Expectations:\nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
