AWS Cloud Systems Engineer

AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Hybrid · Midtown Manhattan · 2–3 days onsite per week Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship (no H-1B, OPT, or other work visa) We're looking for a hands-on cloud infrastructure engineer to own and operate our cloud environments (AWS/Azure) within a global, 24x7 financial services setting. You'll drive cloud architecture, security, automation, and cost optimization while partnering with on-premises and regional teams.What you'll doOwn cloud architecture, landing zones, and resource governance across AWS and/or AzureLead cloud migration, modernization, and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)Enforce cloud security best practices — IAM, network security, encryption, and secrets managementManage disaster recovery strategies, monitoring, alerting, and 24x7 incident responseMaintain the CMDB and apply ITIL practices across incident, problem, and change managementOptimize cloud spend, implement tagging/chargeback models, and partner with Finance on budgetingLead and mentor a team of cloud/DevOps engineersWhat we're looking for6–8 years of hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience in production environmentsBackground in banking or financial services strongly preferredStrong grasp of cloud networking, security, identity, and IaC automationExperience with ITIL processes and CMDB management in complex environmentsProven track record leading technical teams and delivering cloud projectsBachelor's degree requiredLocation: Midtown Manhattan · Hybrid (2–3 days onsite/week) | Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the US without employer visa sponsorship Apply here: https://www.pbsearch.com/hf/3121
