This role owns the full financial close process, GAAP-compliant reporting, and day-to-day accounting functions including GL, inventory, AP/AR, and cash management.\nYou’ll also play a key role in improving systems and processes, including supporting our NetSuite ERP implementation and optimization.\nWhy This Role\nThis is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the financial engine for a $100M revenue, fast-growing e-commerce and distribution company. You will partner closely with executive leadership, build scalable financial processes, and help shape the accounting function as the business continues to grow.\nYou will also work alongside our current Controller during a planned transition through 2027, ensuring strong knowledge transfer and continuity.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn the monthly and annual close process with accurate, timely financial reporting\nEnsure GAAP compliance and maintain a clean, reconciled general ledger\nOversee inventory accounting, COGS, AP/AR, and cash management\nManage sales tax compliance using Avalara\nSupport audits and external reporting requirements\nLead or support NetSuite implementation and process improvements\nImprove accounting workflows across systems (QuickBooks + integrated tools)\nPartner with leadership to provide financial insights and decision support\nHelp build and develop the accounting team\nWhat We’re Looking For\n7+ years of accounting/finance experience (Controller or senior accounting role preferred)\nStrong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle close experience\nExperience in inventory-heavy, e-commerce, distribution, or product-based businesses\nHands-on experience with AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting\nNetSuite and QuickBooks experience required\nStrong Excel skills\nERP implementation experience is a plus\nCPA preferred but not required\nSchedule & Environment\nOnsite: Monday–Thursday\nRemote: Friday\nCollaborative office environment working with leadership, operations, and auditors\nCompensation & Benefits\n$100,000 – $130,000 base salary (based on experience)\nPerformance-based bonus\nHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPTO + paid holidays\nHSA/FSA options\nOn-site gym access\nFlexible Fridays (remote)\nAbout CPGIO\nCPGIO is a $100M revenue e-commerce and commerce intelligence company serving 500+ leading brands.
