As a bartender/server, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, taking food orders, engaging with patrons, delivering food/drinks, bussing tables/bar and ensuring a positive atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Provide fast and attentive service to customers seated at the bar and the dining area.\n* Be knowledgable on the food menu, daily food and drink specials.\n* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.\n* Be attentive to running food to tables.\n* Be attentive to all customers in the establishment.\n* Handle cash/credit transactions accurately using the register system to ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Learn the register system to ensure fast and accurate handling of food/drink transactions.\n* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing, cleaning and resetting tables.\n* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.\n* Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.\n* Work together to restock and clean after rush periods are over.\n* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.\n* Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or special occasions to provide seamless service.\n* Uphold the establishment's standards for quality service while managing time effectively during busy periods.\n* Learn to work and communicate well with your co-workers, as you all work as a team to provide fast and quality service to the customer base.\n\n*Skills*\n\n* Must be 21 or older.\n* Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within bar & grills or restaurants is preferred.\n* Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.\n* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.\n* Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately and responsibly.\n* Familiarity with register systems for processing transactions smoothly.\n* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.\n* A commitment to maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to health regulations related to food handling.\n* Experience in large party service is a plus but not required.\n\nJoin our team as a Bartender/server in a local staple!
