Drive Construction Quality from Day One\nEnsure facilities are built in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and Microsoft quality standards.\nPromote a \"Right First Time\" culture to reduce rework, delays, and operational risks.\n\n2. Audit Contractor Quality Programs\nVerify General Contractors are executing their Quality Management System (QMS).\nConduct routine quality audits, inspections, and field observations.\nValidate contractor compliance with Division 01 requirements, quality plans, inspection processes, and documentation requirements.\n\n3. Manage NCRs and Quality Issues\nInitiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).\nEnsure corrective actions are developed, implemented, and verified.\nEscalate unresolved quality issues to project leadership.\nTrend recurring quality problems and drive systemic corrective actions.\n\n4. Quality Management System Ownership\nEstablish and maintain project quality plans.\nReview and align contractor quality plans before mobilization.\nStandardize quality processes across projects and campuses.\n\n5. Inspection & Test Planning Governance\nGovern Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).\nDefine hold points, quality gates, and documentation requirements.\nEnsure Installer Verification Checklists (IVCs) and readiness requirements are met before commissioning milestones.\n\n6. Digital Quality Platform Management\nAdminister quality tracking systems (Nexus/ACMS).\nMonitor issue closure timelines and SLA performance.\nProduce dashboards and quality metrics for leadership visibility.\n\n7. Field Quality Assurance\nPerform field inspections and observations.\nMonitor workmanship trends and installation quality.\nVerify contractors are following approved procedures and specifications.\nProvide early identification of risks that could impact commissioning, IST, or turnover.\n\n8. Readiness and Turnover Support\nSupport energization and commissioning readiness reviews.\nEnsure documentation, inspections, punch lists, and quality issues are appropriately closed prior to turnover.\nPartner with Commissioning Managers and Operations to improve startup outcomes.\n\n9. Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze trends across campuses and metros.\nCapture lessons learned.\nRecommend process improvements that improve quality performance and reduce recurrence of defects.\n\n10. Contractor Accountability\nHold GCs accountable for their QA/QC responsibilities.\nMonitor closure performance and response times.\nReinforce that workmanship quality remains the responsibility of the contractor. Microsoft Quality provides oversight and assurance.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.\n\nOther Requirements:\n\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
