We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior IT Support & Infrastructure Administrator with over a decade of onsite technical support experience, specifically within production and manufacturing environments.In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring our mission-critical manufacturing, shipping, and ERP systems run flawlessly on the production floor. The ideal candidate pairs deep expertise in traditional manufacturing software (Dynamics GP, SalesPad, Starship, HighJump) and SQL data management with a forward-thinking mastery of modern cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and emerging AI tools.Key Responsibilities1. Production Floor & Application SupportMaintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our core ERP and supply chain ecosystem: Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad, Starship, and HighJump.Act as the primary onsite responder for all technical disruptions affecting production lines, warehousing, and shipping docks.Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries for data retrieval, troubleshooting system integrations, and generating operational reports.2. Infrastructure & Cloud AdministrationManage and monitor local network infrastructure, servers, and switches to ensure zero-downtime on the production floor.Administer cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring smooth data flow between onsite hardware and cloud applications.Ensure robust data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are active and tested.3. Cybersecurity & Systems ManagementImplement and enforce modern cybersecurity best practices to protect sensitive operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) networks.Manage identity access management (IAM), endpoint protection, and security patching across all corporate and ruggedized manufacturing devices.4. Advanced Helpdesk & Technology InnovationProvide tier-2 and tier-3 helpdesk support, resolving complex technical issues with a high degree of empathy and efficiency.Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and automation into daily helpdesk workflows, routine maintenance, and manufacturing data analysis to increase efficiency.Qualifications & SkillsRequired Experience:10+ years of professional IT experience in a dedicated onsite technical support or systems administration role.Industry Background: Proven experience working inside manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or fast-paced production environments. You understand the urgency of a stopped line.Technical Deep-Dive:ERP & Logistics: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad, Starship, and HighJump (or closely related WMS platforms).Database: Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (writing queries, understanding database schemas, and basic administration).Infrastructure: Extensive experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking (VLANs, routing, Wi-Fi optimization in industrial environments).Modern Tech Stack: Deep familiarity with Cloud platforms, modern SaaS administration, and Cybersecurity frameworks.AI Literacy: Hands-on experience using or implementing AI productivity tools, LLMs, or automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Power Automate) to optimize IT operations.Soft Skills:Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to floor workers and executives alike.Calm under pressure; thrives in a dynamic, physical production environment.
