Speech-Language Pathologist

*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients, particularly children, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, orofacial myofunctional disorders and dysphagia. Your expertise will be crucial in developing individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication and enhance the quality of life for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and early intervention strategies.*Responsibilities*Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients.Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.Provide therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.Educate patients and families about speech disorders and effective communication strategies.Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech therapy.*Experience*A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and early intervention practices is essential.Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to create effective treatment plans.Familiarity with various speech therapy techniques and methodologies.Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients through effective communication therapy!Job Type: Full-timePay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hourBenefits:* Continuing education credits* Paid time offAbility to Commute:* Pineville, LA 71360 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Pineville, LA 71360: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
